Hi Naher,
Yes, the HC-06 is compatible with the mePed circuit board.
Thanks,

Re: Meped malfunctioning
Hello, If you purchased your mePed kit after October of 2016, your board should only have a single diode on it along with a jumper wire in place of the second diode. If your board has two diodes on it, I would highly recommend removing one of the diodes and replacing it with a jumper wire. Please se...

Re: Meped malfunctioning
Hi ScienceClass, I apologize for the issues you're having with your new mePed. It's definitely entering a brown-out state where the voltage to the Arduino is dropping below its minimum voltage threshold, causing the Arduino to reset itself over and over. That's why the mePed is twitching over and ov...

Re: Moves forward, stops, moves forward, stops
Hi itinstructor, Try commenting out the line that says: distance = get_distance(INCH); I'm guessing that the routine for grabbing the distance from the ultrasonic range finder is causing the delay in the walking loop. Also, the USRF isn't being used in the starter program. Also, the IR sensor will h...

Re: Bluetooth Program on v2
Hi Akshay, Yes, you can use the IR program from the v1 mePed for the v2. The app used to communicate over Bluetooth is a third party paid app. It is sold and supported by a third party but it works pretty well and it's completely customizable from their web interface. If you'd prefer not to pay for ...

Re: Frozen at first also
Hi Billnoy51, I'm sorry for the issues you're having! Plugging the Arduino in backwards to the main board won't fry the Arduino unless you turn the power on to it. Since you never applied power while the Arduino was plugged in backwards, your Arduino should be fine. Please see my recent response to ...

Re: frozen at first start
Hi Bud44750, It sounds like the IR Remote is probably your issue. Here is a picture of where the Power and IR Indicator LEDs are. mePed LEDs.jpg When sitting idle, only the power LED should be lit up. When you press any button on the IR Remote Control, the IR Indicator LED should flash rapidly for a...

Re: frozen at first start
Hi Bud44750, I'm sorry for the troubles you're having with your mePed! Out of the box, the mePed is pre-programmed to move all servos to the 90° position and wait there until further instruction is received from the IR Remote. When pressing any button on the IR Remote, you should see a red LED ligh...
